Set calorie and macro goals your way

Set your own daily calorie and macro targets, or review a recommendation before choosing what to use.

TL;DR

How to set a daily target

  1. Open Profile, then Daily targets.
  2. Enter your own numbers, or review a recommendation and copy it into the draft.
  3. Save the targets you want to use. Return here to edit or remove them.

Nutrition values from photos and descriptions are estimates and can be edited.

The details

Here is what changed, how to use it, and where you can find it.

01 What changed

Start with your own numbers

In Daily targets, enter a calorie goal and the protein, carbohydrate, and fat amounts that suit your plan. Review the values and save them to update the progress shown with your daily nutrition. You can edit or remove your targets later.

02 What changed

A recommendation stays optional

The Recommendation tab shows an estimate based on the information you provide to the guided calculator. Copying that recommendation fills a draft; it does not change your current targets until you save. If a macro split cannot be calculated, your existing macro targets stay in the draft.

03 What changed

Keep the numbers in context

Daily totals come from confirmed diary entries. The suggested target is a planning estimate, and nutrition from photos remains an editable estimate. BiteMemo does not prescribe a medical or dietary goal.
